This Is 13

What did you look like when you were a 13-year-old? What were you doing at that age?

Did you know that 13 is the average age an American girl enters the sex trade? There is a simple way for you to use your influence to raise sex trafficking awareness around this staggering statistic to support trafficked teens…

Join New Friends New Life’s “This Is 13” campaign by:

1.       Sending a photo of yourself or loved one at age 13. If you do not have a digital file of your photo, just snap a picture of the photo using your smart phone and send to communications@newfriendsnewlife.org.

2.       Similar to the Facebook filter for profile pictures created after the 2015 Paris attacks, New Friends New Life will add the filter shown on Shelly Slater’s photo below  and we’ll send the photo back to you.

3.       Post the filtered photo as your profile picture or as a post on Facebook or Instagram.

Visit Thisis13.org to learn more.

Funds raised will help support the launch of New Friends New Life’s new Teen Programs, including a new Teen Center and 24/7 victim advocate response
