Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott returned this year to give an overview of the scope and nature of human trafficking in Texas as well as the prevention task force’s legislative initiatives. NFNL Executive Director Katie Pedigo shared the community support for the women of New Friends New Life and stressed the need for our response to victims of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking to continue to improve.

Jimmy Westcott and Kameron Westcott served as the Ninth Annual WINGS Luncheon Honorary Chairs. The Event Chair was Katherine LaLonde.

NFNL premiered a video highlighting two women’s stories of their vulnerability to abuse as a child, finding themselves in the sex industry, and rebuilding their lives when they escaped.
