New Friends New Life is a faith-based organization located in the Dallas, Fort Worth area that assists women who want to get out of sexually oriented businesses such as the adult entertainment industry, dancing, stripping and prostitution.

We offer a program of assistance based on expectations of accountability and responsibility on the part of those helped. Participants, called Protégés, commit to changing their lifestyles, living within a budget, remaining drug and alcohol-free, and gaining the education or skills needed to acquire conventional employment.

New Friends│New Life meets a unique community need as described by Dallas Deputy Police Chief, Narcotics Division, J. A. Bernal:

“When a woman resorts to the sex industry, it brings her whole family down. Women begin prostituting as a means to support their children, but they wind up doing drugs to dull the pain of their degrading existence. Without intervention, women don’t have a chance to make it. That means their children don’t have a chance either. The vicious cycle continues and we all suffer the effects. Literally hundreds of women are caught in this mostly because of lack of education and no healthy support system. The sex industry in Dallas County cannot be curtailed without the assistance of the entire community.”
