McCall Cravens

McCall Cravens is the Chief Investment Officer for Hunt Global Investments.  McCall oversees investment activity for Hunt Global Investments, the investment arm of Hunt Consolidated, and for Palette Investment Company, the family office of Ray L. Hunt and his descendants. 

McCall previously served as SMU’s Managing Director of Investments in the Endowment office.  At SMU, she was responsible for overseeing and making recommendations regarding outside managers in all asset classes, including long-only equity, fixed income and credit, diversifying strategies, private equity, venture capital, real estate, energy, and timberland. 

Prior to joining SMU, McCall worked as an investment professional for several private equity funds, including Pamlico Capital and Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners.  She also served as an analyst in the M&A investment banking group at Wachovia. 

McCall received her B.S. from Vanderbilt University, summa cum laude, and her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  McCall has been recognized by Trusted Insight as one of the “Top 30 Women Chief Investment Officers” and one of the “Top 30 Most Influential Women in University Endowments" as well as recognition as one of the top “Forty Under Forty” by aiCIO.  She also serves on the Investment Committee for the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and previously served on the Investment Committee for the Dallas Women’s Foundation.

McCall lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, Stephen, and their three children, Ben, Hannah and Hugh.
