Jan Osborn

Jan is the Founder of Dallas Doing Good, a local nonprofit that creates and shares stories that support good news in North Texas and is focused on leaders, helpers, and solutions in our community.

Jan has served on various nonprofit boards throughout the Dallas area and chaired fundraising events for Preston Hollow Elementary, Dallas Christian School, CARE Dallas, New Friends New Life, The Elisa Project, Connecting Point of Park Cities, Pink Day, Texas Women’s Foundation, Recovery Resource Council and Nexus.

A native of Bentonville, Arkansas, Jan has called Dallas home for over 35 years. She and her husband, Scott, have two adult sons.

CEO – MARK CUBAN HEROES BASKETBALL CENTER

Trina Terrell-Andrews is a Chicago, Illinois native who has called Dallas home for the past 40-plus years.

The retired journalist began her career in the non-profit sector when she became the Executive Director of the Bradie James Breast Cancer Foundation.

Last year, Trina became the CEO of the Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center in Dallas, Texas. Versus being called Chief Executive Officer, Trina refers to herself as the Chief Encouragement Officer.

For more than a decade, Trina has managed the daily operations of the Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center. Affectionately referred to as the Cuban Center, the 46-year-old building structure originally opened as the Maria Morgan YWCA. The same year Trina was born.

Trina has worked with her team to launch a year-round internship co-ed program for high school and college students for the past 10 years. She also launched the Suit Up Experience 6 years ago for young men ages 15-25.

Trina has worked closely with their kids and families to offer student led programs. Programs that reflect the interest of the students. From sports to career development to team building.

Trina is a retired journalist who started her journalism career at the age of 14 interning for The Dallas Weekly and The Dallas Morning News. After graduating from high school, Trina attended Grambling State University on a journalism scholarship.

Trina has dedicated her life to educating and empowering others. She is a child safety advocate. She is passionate about everyone having access to quality mental health resources and services.

Trina is married and is the mother of 4 young men.
