High Involvement Opportunities

*Volunteers interested in high involvement opportunities understand there is an additional 6 hour training requirement (3 hour in person training and 3 hour online training, Ministries Safe) and a 1 year commitment.

Academic Tutor

Are you a natural educator and have a heart for children? We need volunteers interested in committing to tutor children of all ages and education levels for a school year commitment. Help children overcome the hurdles associated with learning.

Career Pathways Professional Coach

Are you passionate about your career and want to teach others and provide guidance on how to reach educational and career goals? Volunteers would be paired with women and/ or girls interested in the same career path for job assistance.

Participate with Members in Cultural Event Activities

Build relationship with our members and children by attending various cultural events throughout Dallas. Events are scheduled quarterly and revolve around member interests and seasonal offerings.

Conversation Buddy

Cultivate relationships with our members through Wednesday night dinner conversation. Come and get to know our women by eating dinner and mingling every Wednesday at Preston Road Church of Christ from 5:30-6:30.

Child and Youth Childcare

You can leave a legacy, a change that will last for lifetimes to come by volunteering with the children and youth of NFNL! Volunteer to assist on Wednesday evenings for our weekly programs or weekdays/nights depending on the need.

Use your skills and expertise to host a special event for our members/ youth either through a community building activity, holiday event, or a career building workshop. Opportunities span from hosting a painting class or a baby shower to a computer literacy or career interviewing workshop.
